Without Knowledge

What are we without knowledge?
Even if we were full of beauty, talent
what would we be without knowledge?
It'll be like having wings, and not knowing how to fly.
Like having legs and not knowing where to run.
Why being beautiful, even perfect if you're empty?
Seeing a drop and ignoring the ocean...
What is it then a human, without knowledge?
Flesh and bones
and a starved soul.
We would have no laughter, no imagination,
no sky, no horizon...
What for should we have a brain
if it receives nothing, awaits nothing, says nothing and carries nothing.
What are we, so simple and so fragile... without knowledge?
Tainting, crawling in a world, so uncertain.
